New York Fashion Week! What an amazing experience. From the runway shows to street style, fashion inspiration was everywhere. As you can see in some of the pictures from the fashion shows I attended this past week, floral print, leather, and vibrant colors are coming in hot this spring. Of all the new collections I've seen, Yuna Yang's line was definitely my favorite. She had tons of floral print with beautiful sheer layering over the top. The Kate Spade show had the same fun and pretty vibe. There was beautiful floral print dresses, bumble bee totes, ice cream truck purses, and pretty flowers covering the room from each end, it was almost impossible to not smile at the Kate Spade show. As many of you know, I don't typically stick to one type of style. Pretty and fun runs through my wardrobe, but boho chic and edgier styles are more my taste. The Nicole Miller show had a great combination of both. A lot of dresses she had on the runway had fun edgy colors with an added lace up strap in the front, featuring wild untamable hair styles.
From fashion industry veterans to up-and-coming it girls, fashion lovers from all over the place swarm to the city with their best looks. These are the styles that most people are drooling over on blogs and Pinterest. The must-have street style looks that were worn through out the week include lots and lots of fringe, two piece outfits, longline jackets, mixed patterns, flared bottoms, and two piece suits with a sexy brallete under neath.
