If I had a dollar for everytime I've been asked "What are you?" Or "What's your ethnicity?" I would be rich! The answer to the question is that I am mixed with a lot of things, Irish, Old English, German, and what I like most is that I am part Cherokee Indian. If you are wondering why I am blabbering on and on about where I come from, its because whenever I see tan suede fringe I am instantly reminded that I am part Cherokee. Fringe has been a huge trend this summer with all of the festival looks and it seems to be rolling into the fall styles as well through booties, jackets, vests, dresses, and tops! I do have to warn you, not all fringe looks fashionable, in fact a lot of it looks extremely cheap. Try to stay away from any fringe that gets tangeled together after any sort of movement, these types of knots are NOT fashionable. Another major tip when shopping for fringe is to steer clear from tees that look like you just took scissors to them 10 minutes before you left the house. You can easily save money and not look cheap while shopping for some fringe, look into a good quality faux suede material. As you can see in some of my pictures, my vest can easily add more excitement to a basic outfit or it can add drama to a fun romper or dress. Check out Beyoncé's awesome 2015 Coachella dress that she paired with a fringe vest for inspiration. Queen B knows how to make a statement. I decided to pair my vest with a turquoise statement necklace and black strappy gladiator sandals. My vest is from a vintage store in Daytona and the shoes and necklace are from Forever 21! I hope you guys enjoy this look! I can promise you all that there will plenty more fringe in future posts, the trend doesn't seem to by going away anytime soon.
